I need help on converting my video files. I want Xilisoft Video Converter to convert some .VOB files to HD files like H.264 and DivX HD. It will just start converting then it will take so long with the process and then hangs. It happens every time I am attempting to convert my videos.
I need some advices on how to make this work. It worked fine with .VOB files but it does not allow it to connect to different video files as it started to hang upon trying to.

My suggestions are:
1. Disable Screen saver and power option when working a time consuming PC-work. Sometimes the screen saver or power option automatically shuts downs or stops the running programs. It also slows down the PC when any video file is converting or rendering.
2. First convert your .VOB file to normal .AVI file, and then convert it to HD files.
3. Use the latest Xilisoft HD Video Converter (not the Xillisoft Video Converter) to convert to H.264 or DivX HD. The latest version is updated with many features and is very easy to use.
4. Make sure you have installed the ID and Password properly in Xillisoft. Otherwise, it will convert for a long time but would not work properly.
5. If it hangs often, then install the Windows with proper Audio-Video driver. Then Install the latest Xillisoft HD Converter.
