In the wake of the recent attacks on online account, I am currently looking into better ways to protect my email address. Can anyone provide me with the best ways to do that? Also, I have been hearing a lot about ‘two-step’ verification by Gmail. Can somebody explain to me how it can be used?

Go to gmail.com and log in your Gmail account. Then click account option. Now you can see two-step verification. Then click and start setup. Then give your valid phone number because Google will send a numeric code to your phone whenever you sign in from an entrusted computer or device.then you receive a text or call and write code and submit.so your two-step verification complete.
