Could not complete your request because of a program error

Hello,

I have received an error message on my machine running with Leopard 10.5.6. It says, "Could not complete your request because of a program error". This is really an annoying error message. Have you any idea for the error message?

Please help me to get a remedy of this issue.

Regarding to your problem, about the error message, check first your machine if it is running 867 MHz or even faster, have at least 9 GB available space of hard drive, 512 MB RAM and have a DVD drive. Second, Leopard can be infiltrated, so it’s better to check the security system of your machine.

Hi Jason,

              This error comes from working with Adobe Photoshop, usually this error will show up when Photoshop tries to open many documents in the background. You can try this you can open Photoshop files using a different properties. Look for a Photoshop layer that has no text and then try to open it. Once successful, try going back to the previous page and see if it will still freeze. You can check if there are any duplicate fonts on your Adobe Photoshop by:

  • Look for Font book
  • Edit > Selected Duplicated Fonts
  • Edit > Resolve Duplicates
  • Then click Done
