Hey there, you guys!
I have a question about opening two Excel files in the same window. Usually, when I try to open two different files in Excel, they open in two separate windows.
What I want is that when I open a new file, or another copy of the same file, Excel would make the file viewable in the same window.
This way I will be able to stay within the same window and edit two separate files. I was wondering if there is an option in Excel that would help me do that. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

Can I open two Excel files in one window?
Hi Camford,
Yes, you can open two Microsoft Office Excel files in the same window side-by-side. You may also work on both files simultaneously, and save them into one Workspace for future use.
This is the step-by-step guide on how to do so (with MS Excel 2007): (My apologies for not providing any screenshots as I have difficulty doing so)
1. Open the MS Excel files you wish to work on.
2. Click on VIEW > ARRANGE ALL
(A pop-up window will appear on how you wish to arrange your window)
3. Click VERTICAL (The active window will be on the left-side)
And there you have it: Two MS Excel files in one window. Should you wish to save this so that you don't have to trouble yourself with the same process the next time you work on these files, continue with this steps:
4. Click on VIEW > SAVE WORKSPACE (You will be diverted into Save Workspace pop-up window)
5. Enter a filename you like.
I hope you find this helpful. Best of luck!

Window office excel 2003 gives this great opportunity. If you want to open multiple excel file at a time and also want to edit two files at a time then please follow the procedure given Click Here
