Can I do in anyway simple scan of documents in linux?

Hi, 

How can i do in any way simple scan of documents in Ubuntu using some software and thus increase the speed and quality of scanning?

I also need to know how to set up a scanner and software in Ubuntu.

Need help.

Can I do in anyway simple scan of documents in linux?

First you should make sure that you buy a scanner supported by Ubuntu

A great software that will help you to scan easily and that will make the whole process less complicated is SimpleScan.

It's perfect for beginners and offers basic controls

To use the scanner :

1)  Turn on the scanner and put the document you want to scan.

2)  Run the scanning software from Applicatio > Graphics > < software name >

3)  After the scanning process you can save the scanned image
