Can I use a dreamweaver for ubuntu? My operating system was ubuntu and I never tried to install the dreamweaver yet, I would like to ask you if the application is compatible with ubuntu os. Tell me more about this before I will make some move.

You are inquiring if you can install Dreamweaver on your Ubuntu OS. The answer to this is no, but there are other software that would make good alternatives to this. There is Kompozer, an open-source software that is much like Dreamweaver, and is compatible with Ubuntu OS. Here is a link to download Kompozer:

While technically its not possible to install and run Windows based programs on Linux, however there of late tools like Wine have gaining popularity which can help execute Windows based application on Linux machines.
Here is a step by step instructions on installing dreamweaver on Ubuntu.
In case if you would like to try other open source tools, then you should even consider using Aptana, a powerful development environment for designing websites.
