When I switch on PC, I get the following error Window –

Can Anyone Help Me Fix The Following Error – A Conexant Audio Device Could Not Be Found (Windows 10)?

I know various methods that can help you to fix the following error – a Conexant audio device could not be found (Windows 10). If one of the methods help you, do not try the next method.

Method 1

a. Press Windows + R.
b. Type services.msc and press enter.
c. Double-click on the CxUtilSvc service.

d. Set the startup type to Automatic.
e. Start the service.
f. Click on Apply -> Ok.
g. Restart your device.
h. The error should be gone.

Method 2

a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type devmgmt.msc and press enter.

c. Expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
d. Right-click on Conexant High Definition SmartAudio Drivers.
e. Click on Uninstall.
f. There is a checkbox labeled – Delete the driver software for this device.
g. Tick the checkbox.
h. Click on the Ok button.
i. Restart your device.
j. Your error must be gone.
