Hi Pro Experts,

I am getting this wired error message and it makes me more tired. This error message pops up every time I start the windows 8. I am not opening any of the Apple product but still this annoying error pops up. Do I need to change the settings or properties? Where do I change it? Please help.

The procedure entry point kCFStreamSocketSecurityLevelNegotiatedSSL could not be located in the dynamic link library CFNetwork.dll.

AppleSyncNotifier.exe – Entry Point Not Found

I don’t know much Apple products but the commonly used Apple product or products being installed on Microsoft Windows are QuickTime and iTunes. Both are Apple products. If you have one or both of these applications then one of them is causing the error. This is more likely a problem in the program. The Apple program known to cause lots of errors is iTunes.

I have QuickTime on my computer but it doesn’t have the file AppleSyncNotifier.exe. The reason behind this is that when opening the computer, iTunes also loads different Apple-related background utilities and one of them is AppleSyncNotifier.exe. The utility is trying to load certain information from a database and it can’t find the correct version of the DLL file.

To fix the problem, open Windows Explorer and go to “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleApple Application Support”. See image.

Find the files “CFNetwork.dll” and “SQLite3.dll”. Copy and paste them to “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile Device Support”. This should fix the problem. See image.
