Apple iPad suddenly turns off and was unable to start

I have an iPad that suddenly turns off. When I plugged it into a power outlet to charge it, it doesn't turn on at all. I'm not sure what else to do. I moved the plug/charger to be sure that wasn't the issue, but it was unable to start up. I hope that there is a resolution because I am getting worried. Thank you for your advice.

Please try any of these options:

  1. iPad isn’t charging
  • Try using another cable to charge the device.
  • Try charging it from your computer via the USB cable
  1. iPad isn’t Turning on
  • Try hard resetting your device.  Hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time.  This will not erase any data.
  • Try a restore by using the iTunes app.  Connect the device to your laptop/computer, open ITunes, then select the device and click on Restore in the summary pane.
  • Connect your device via the USB cable on your laptop/computer. Plug out the cable from the device, but don’t plug out the USB cable.  Hold the Home button and the Sleep/

Wake button down together for a minimum time of 10 seconds. While still holding the 2 buttons, plug the cable back into your device.
