Hi Owen Jensen,

Some apps need continuous internet connection and if you are not in WIFI range and your VPN is ON, these apps use network data and increase your phone bills unwontedly. Now this new APN on off widget allows you to switch off your APN to avoid unwanted use of network data on your Android phone.

You can directly download the app on your Android phone from Android market or follow the below given link to download on your PC then install it on your phone.

To use this app, Enable our mobile networks, select your APN then drag the app to home window.

Now you can enable or disable your APN by clicking on the widget icon.

I hope it will help you to save money.

To avoid unwanted internet charges, make sure you turn off your phone’s data when you are not using or you are not browsing the internet. If you leave data on always even when you’re not using the internet, the applications installed on your handset will constantly access the internet to check for and install updates.

When data is off, the apps will not be able to access the internet and check for updates preventing them from automatically updating itself. You can always allow them to update when you are using the internet that way you have control over your data. Another way you can reduce your data usage is to use Opera Mini as your web browser on your phone.

Opera Mini has a built-in ad blocker that prevents ads from showing as you browse the internet. It also allows you to download videos. This is convenient if you don’t have time to watch online and prefer watching it offline when you are not doing anything. Download the Android version from Opera Mini on Google Play. For iOS, download Opera Mini on iTunes.

It requires iOS 7 or later and supports iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
