Hi,

Can anyone tell me how can I use proxy in Firefox? I am using software for proxy useable in IE but not in Firefox.

You are using software for proxy. Proxy software only changes the internet explorer proxy setting. If you want to change the proxy setting in Firefox, do the following steps:

  • Open men Firefox.
  • Go to Option, network, setting, and use the option use proxy and put your proxy address 41.139.138.195 and port 8080.

Hi Moiz1,

There's is an easier way to change your proxy setting in Firefox by using add-ons. One of such add-ons is FoxyProxy. With this add-on, you can switch an internet connection between one or more proxy servers based on URL patterns. For example, you only want to use a proxy server for a particular website but not for other websites, you can do that easily with this add-on.

Proxy server switching happens based on the URL currently loading and the switching rules you specify. Just download it from Firefox add-ons official page. Restart your Firefox and voila! You can get Foxy Proxy from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/

change your proxy setting in Firefox by using add-ons.
