Hello,

I can’t install Trend Micro cause of this error and I don’t know why also I had some problems with downloading. I tried many times and the same error appeared. Any solution ? How can I solve this error ?

At first I thought there was a problem with your operating system because you are using Microsoft Windows 8 and not all applications are supporting it yet. But after checking, you shouldn’t have any problem because Microsoft Windows 8 and Microsoft Windows 8.1 are fully supported. So there is really no compatibility issue.

The error message mentioned ActiveX which you can install separately. Normally, it is only Adobe Flash Player that is mostly downloaded by users and installed on their computer. If you haven’t installed ActiveX, it can also be downloaded and installed from Adobe. If you don’t have it yet on your computer, download the installer directly from Adobe Flash Player ActiveX.

If the installation is having problems with the ActiveX controls, I think installing Adobe Flash Player ActiveX might help.
