I am working on formulas with Excel. I am getting the following error when I try to add a new row in my excel – A formula in this worksheet contains one or more invalid references. Please guide me to overcome this error.
The following steps can help you overcome the error – “A formula in this worksheet contains an invalid reference.
a. Open Excel.
b. Go to the Formulas tab.
c. Click on Error Checking -> Error Checking.
d. Press and hold Alt.
e. Press E and leave it. Do not leave Alt.
f. Press G and leave it. Do not leave Alt.
g. Press S and leave it. Do not leave Alt.
h. This is known as Alt + EGS.
i. Match your settings with the image -> OK.
j. Press CTRL+F.
k. Search for #
l. Open Name Manager.
m. Check for errors in each of the Names.
n. Check all chart series individually if you use charts.
