i am new in Windows 7 now tell me how to know my video memory. then please tell me how to know and change my display resolution.

My antivirus Avira constantly alerts me that there is a roolkit somewhere on my local disc C where my Windows OS is installed, but the antivirus itself can not remove it.

I have tried with other software for roolkit removal, but none of them seems to work.

Is there a way to delete the roolkit without formatting my PC ?

I have Windows 7 and I can connect to the network and to the Internet and also able to browse websites and basically do everything i'd like to online, with no problems. However, when I look at the network icon at the bottom right, it has that yellow mark on it that should mean I have a problem with my network connection.

Is this a problem? How do I get to make it display the right notification?

I have a system that I built which I, conveniently, did not install an optical drive in as i'd like to keep the case as nice looking as it can and an optical drive will just make it a bit ugly. I also don't want to spend money on an external optical drive as it costs more than it useful especially these days. I was wondering, is there is a way to install Windows 7 on my computer using a usb flash drive/thumb drive?

Why I'm always getting Windows 7 update almost everyday?

It's taking so long before I can use my computer because of many updates and after installing updates, it asks me to restart my computer.

What will I do to stop this?

It is really a waste of time because when I shut down my computer, there's like 110 updates to be installed and that's always happening when I shut down my computer.

Please help me.

2) The antivirus software is not false-detecting the File (in which case white-list the folder/file)

I have installed Linux Mint Julia.

And when I start the PC Mint boots automatically without giving any option of booting Windows7.

I have also searched on internet but nothing came across me.

My windows 7 won't start up. What do I need t do? I don't want to delete files and programs because there are a lot of important files in my computer. Every time I open or start my computer it automatically go to system recovery option. I tried all the repair options in system recovery but still won't work. What should I do to be able to fix my computer? I really need your help on this. Thank you very much.
