Is it true that one anti Spyware isn't enough to protect your computer from internet spyware?

I have downloaded (I will not name drop one anti spyware) an anti spyware but I still have doubts if is enough for my computer's protection.

Can I install many anti spyware in my computer?

And what would be the best anti spyware for the job?

My pc got a Trojan virus. I keep on deleting it but it goes back again. I don't know what to do. Can somebody help me how to remove it and won't go back again?

I keep on installing anti-virus applications to protect my pc.

However, it only lasts for 30 days. I didn't notice it's just a trial.

Can anybody suggest some anti-virus applications that is for free and would not last just for 30 days?

I just had the Kaspersky internet security 2012 set-up and did a manual update by downloading the updates from <del>.com.

Following the update, it prompted a License verification failure error.

I am hoping someone could help me out on resolving this. Shown below are some useful snapshots.

I have the Kaspersky security internet 2011. And when the 2012 version came out, I decided to upgrade and uninstall the 2011. However, while using the official uninstaller of Kaspersky, I had encountered a warning prompt saying that I do not have sufficient access to the Windows registry key: Win logon/Notify/klogon.

I already sent an error report to Kaspersky using the avptool2010. They responded with a script that should be run that will resolve the said issue. I did run it and it prompted for a reboot, however after the reboot still same problems, it does not fix anything.

Any help I could get will be appreciated.

My mom just fallen into a "big problem" with her computer. This is about a desktop of old Dell Dimension 4600 running in XP Home.

Mom runs Avast Antivirus software, and this morning it was declared to update the application. She pressed where she told to click. After the update process, Avast told her to restart her computer, and the computer goes through the restart process. All was going normally, but suddenly, the system just freezes. Her desktop wallpaper and desktop icons are (I think) present. But the taskbar / start menu / systray icons is not visible. At the same time she receives an error message says:

I need help, please. I can’t install my AVG and I’ve been working at it for a couple of minutes now, but I couldn’t fix it.

Every time I install it, it shows an error message:

“Severity:Error

During scanning with registered Malwarebytes Anti-malware software I found following error message –

[OpenEvent] Failed to perform desire action. Error code:2

I bought a new Motorola Defy+ yesterday and now after running it a little over 24 hours I am facing problems with it. As soon as I enter "Dialer" to call contacts, random applications initiate.

These application run in background and drains the battery pretty fast. Is this problem common or is it just happening with my phone? Does this have anything to do with buggy User Interface? Can someone suggest a solution?
