How can i fix the random freezing of processes on a Asus K52J?All the active applications freeze for 2 – 4 minutes. I've tried both Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and x86 and the laptop and reduced the bus speed of the HDD(by adding the pin) to fix the compatibility issue with the motherboard. I have checked the graphics card as well and it seems to be in working order. Of course, virus or any kind of malware is out of the question because i have fully formatted the HDD twice and did a before and after scan with Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 (v11.0.0.232) with no results.
Specifications: Notebook Asus K52JE-EX194D, Intel® CoreTM i3-380M 2.53, 3GB, 500GB SATA at 5400 rpm, ATI Radeon HD 5470 512MB

I have a Toshiba laptop. Few days ago, my younger brother broke its original cd drivers. Now,I want to install a new window, what should I do? (I am unable to search the drivers on Toshiba's website).
Some one suggested to install the window 7,but my laptop is simple P4 with 512 MB RAM and 120 GB HD only. Will it affect the speed of my computer?

My friend bought a laptop but confused how to type because the keys U, I, O, J, K, L, M does not work even though the function Fn + F11 (Num Lock) is disabled. Button only works if pressed together with Fn. maybe there are other friends who know how to keyboard can type without having to press the Fn key again.

I bought this laptop in 2008 and immediately noticed the unusually heating up, the battery doesn’t last long when not on power and takes about 20 minutes. It recently went off after heating up, took it to the technician but has experienced this problem again. How can I resolved this, I have already replaced the battery but still the same problem exists?
