2 days ago my computer suddenly died, then I turn it on again, but could not.

Working only VGA fan, processor, casing and LED lights his lamp.

This specification 2 days ago:

Motherboard: Gigabyte G31M-ES2L
PSU: Gigabyte Superb 460w
VGA: HD 4770
Processor: Core 2 Duo E7500
RAM: DDR2 2GB x 2

Then I test the onboard still does not flame.

Now I think the problem of the motherboard.

I got home I plug, but still the same problem…

But the result remains the same, I test again the onboard still cannot flame.

Approximate problem is where?

Whether the PSU?

When your computer turns off, do you hear any beeps on it?

1. Try removing the RAM and erase the gold part with an eraser. And then, insert it back again.

2. Check the Power Supply Unit with a paper clip trick. Insert the clip on the green wire pin and the other one on the black wire pins. It should have a ground on the green wire. Open the PSU and the fan should work, if not then the problem is the PSU.

3. Identify the last task you are doing when the computer shuts itself down. It could be an overheating issue when you are doing so many tasks.

4. Check if there is a water falling on your computer.

5. Check if the video card is working correctly. It may be the reason since you still have the lights and fan on.
