Networking
Hello
I have an original Power Book G4 running Panther. To register into a Windows 2000 domain, I want to set up Active Directory. I have put the forest, domain and ID okay, and then chose 'bind'.

Hello,
I tried that but no benefit. It shows a Compile error (461): Member or data member not found. So, the form holding the OCX will not open. No, I think the code is in line.
There must be unusual running interference. But I am not able to figure out this. (In which case it is probably something obvious but my old eyes are just not seeing it).
I've tested the registry and the whole thing seems to be correctly registered and in sequence. The .dll file, MDIVWCTL.DLL is in the right directory etc. But there must be another program that is stopping the ActiveX control, miDocVew from starting.
I appreciate your attention. Please help me to solve this. Thanks in advance.

At my house, I have a Windows Server 2008 running with Microsoft Exchange Server. I would like to set DYNDNS so that I could obtain external mails without charges from my Internet Service Provider for a static IP address.
I have a domain name with a local communication network and an account with DYNDNS. I don’t have any problems with the servers, but I would like to connect my domain name from DYNDNS on my exchange server.
How can I do that?

Due to firewall barriers and securities, we have servers which cannot get into the mail server.
However, it can connect to the Lotus Notes Server.
Can a command line be used to fix this problem?
How can we connect and send SMTP mail using Notes Mail 5.1xthrough normal Notes protocols port 1352?

Hi, everyone!
I am an IT graduate currently working in a new company. I was asked to manage users from another forest division but I only want to use a secure connection, particularly HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure). Is it possible to do so?
I really want to keep all transactions secure and safe from intruders. Please tell me if this can be done.
Thanks!

I've recently upgraded VCenter from 2.5 to 4.1. Everything seemed to be working great, except that I have experienced errors when creating host profiles. I haven't noted any problems with VCenter or the database, but when I try to log on to the VCenter machine, I get the following error message.

Hello,
On my Windows XP operating system, I am not able to connect to the internet linked with a LAN line.
I have tried to find help from other forums and have followed a service but that was not working (DHCP CLIENT) and I'm getting an error 1075:
“System error 1075 has occurred.
The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.”
I believe it means that NetBT has to be set up, but that is nowhere to be started.
Then I tried a few things through Windows XP installer disk but it didn't work.
Lastly, I tried to system restore, but it was not working either for all the restore points.
All of these have been done on safe mode.
