Desktop gadget are not working. Each time I activate a desktop gadget it just blur and not much is visible. I cannot run even the newly downloaded gadgets. I need the solution as quickly as possible. Kindly someone help me with the issue.

My DVD ROM Drive is not working.

When I press Eject button it does not open, only flashes green light and makes a small noise.

The noise comes from inside the drive.

Now how can I open it?

I need your suggestion guys.

I have Verizon DSL as my Internet Provider and I'm thinking of switching over to AT&T. I keep on turning off and back on my modem as a tech support representative advised me to do so every time I can't connect. Do I need to replace my modem?
