Hardware
Hello everyone,
I'm a Web Developer and i have my own office at home (freelance). I'm planning to buy a laptop because, i travel a lot and i need to keep working during trips, hotel nights and maybe while eating and meetings. So, considering I'd need to run applications like Eclipse, PhpEd, Photoshop and other IDE's.
Would you recommend me buying a netbook?
I'm also not sure if a netbook is comfortable for writing for long periods because of the narrowed keyboard.
Any suggestions?
I would appreciate suggestions about specific models, or processors i should look up, minimal configurations to run programs mentioned smoothly, etc.

Hi,
While working on my IdeaPad V470 Laptop I got this error.
Power Error – Make sure the computer is turned on and connected to the power.
I have been drafting a report and wanted a print out. It’s quite a large document, about 150 pages.
I gave the printer command and got about doing some other work. After a few pages were printed the printer stalled. When I checked the screen to see what had happened.,this error message was there. I already had the laptop connected to the charger while working.

Hi ,
I need some assistance. I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit from Windows XP Home Edition. From my previous operating system, I will make an Acronis True Image 10 Backup. So I made a backup and mount it on my new operating system, then copy all the files from there. I can run that without having problems when I was using Windows XP, but in Vista I am encountering error;
The disk is write-protected.
Remove the write-protection or use another disk.

Hi folks,
When I turn on the computer, I get this error message, “Fan error”.
I tried to go in to safe mode and then operate the system. I even tried to disable auto run and start to configure the setup on safe mode. Still when I start and try to run in the normal mode this error appears.
Please help me. Is this error caused by the drivers?
Or is the CPU fan being faulty?
There are no unusual sounds from the fans and it seems to be working in good shape.
I have even tried reinstalling the drivers, yet the errors come up. What do you think is causing this error?
Here is a screenshot of the error message:

Hi there,
While working on my computer, after awhile when I’m in the middle of some job the computer freezers.
The following error appears.
“Oops Windows is Tired, Hey Windows is tired now. Let is freeze for sometime. See you later!”
When I select the “freeze” option, windows freezers and I can no longer carry out doing my job.
As the mouse and the keyboard do not function at this point I have to force shutdown or restart the computer.
If I select the option to “keep running”, would it in some way harm the computer?
Would this result in me having to reboot the system.
How do I overcome this issue?

Hi everyone,
The error I am receiving;
Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed.
I am encountering this error on my HP Pavilion laptop with Windows XP Professional before. But because of added new features and better performance, I decided to change and install a fresh and genuine version of Windows 7 Ultimate. Everything seems to be okay. I successfully installed all the necessary drivers needed to include the drivers for my Optical Drive.

But apparently the printer relay an error message that says, no printer was found windows cannot connect to the printer;
Add Printer
Connect to Printer
Windows cannot connect to the printer. No printers were found.
I have the CD installer and the printer itself right connected to the laptop, but the error came out several times when trying to connect to the printer.
