Firewalls

Firewalls

It really bothers me a lot when an Incredimail is installed to my computer. What makes me alarm on this thing is that, it installed itself without my permission. I’m afraid that it might affect other programs on my computer so I uninstalled it. The first time I’ve done it was a success. But it happened again. This time, it was installed to my Firefox browser as a tool bar. The most shocking of this is that, it doesn’t have uninstall or remove button. Can anyone tell me, what am I suppose to do on this?

As far as i know , Firewalls are for protecting PC from foreign attacks from intruders or virus or something like it.

But when i turn on the fire wall system for my PC, my PC becomes so slow that it can not even run two programs at a time (or in other words, can not do multitasking).

I need firewall to protect my pc but i also need my pc fast.

How i am going to solve it?

I use Avira Antivir; it is easy to use and user-friendly.

I know many others as well such as panda, kaspersky, norton360, AVG, etc.

But I have not used them as yet.

So far, I am content using Avira.

I am installing a non-Microsoft third party application.

During the installation I receive a warning message which says the software I am installing has not passed the Windows Logo testing.

I know that the software I am installing is windows compatible and I am sure of it.

Will pressing the Continue Anyway button affect my system?

I haven't  pressed this button because I am afraid of what will happen.

Please give your advice, thanks.
