In my iPhone, I have a huge database of location stored, which is used in location service. Why does Apple need so much of data in calculating the location? 

Also, even if I turn off the location service, the iPhone updates the database of WiFi hotspots and cell towers around the current location from Apple crowd-sourcing.

Why is it so? 

1. I need your help in finding a resolution for the error – “The system cannot find path”, which I have been receiving while trying to add database in Oracle. To clarify, I have already set a log_archive_dest1='D:appadministratororclarchive parameter in the database before shutting down. What should I do?

We are a having problems accessing our Oracle database through WAN. We are using ERP applications where the application server and the database server are placed on different locations. Both servers are connected via 2Mbps MPLS link (latency 4-5 MS). The problem is there are times when I could not log in to the application server.

I even get an error message saying “TNS packet writer failure error”.

This usually happens when I enter a user ID assigned with more tasks, making its profile quite heavy. Other applications such as RDP and web applications work just fine with the same link, and when I try using a user ID with a lighter work load, there are no problems with logging in.

We have lost a huge amount of data and we have no idea how it happened. We have this HP-UX 11.11 running Oracle version 9.2.0.8 which lost hundreds GB’s worth of data.

I don’t think though that it would have been an accident nor it could have been done manually since doing so would take a long time. Also, the AUD$ log doesn’t reflect any user activity during the time window of 24 hours since the data was deleted.

I kept on seeing the error message saying “ORA-1650 exists (ORA-1650: unable to extend rollback segment R01 by 640 in table space RBS)”.

I am hoping you could tell how it is possible for the computer to lose such amount of data in an instant and for the computer not to have a record of it.

Hi! I am basically new to SQL and I need some assistance. I need to make a trigger that will allow me to generate an xml file of the date whenever an action takes place. I have been searching for options and I have encountered a clause that can generate an output as xml format. But it does not allow me to make an actual xml file that I can put in a path. We would like to make a template of a 'Request Form' where anyone who would ask for help can just simply fill out the spaces describing the products such as its respective versions, operating systems, and plug-ins used.

We are also looking into the possibility of including an option for them to attach a snapshot of their product so that we could use it as reference while helping them.

Is there any way for us to do this? We are looking forward to your suggestions.

My database version is PHPRunner 6 build 9334. I tested it and it looks fine but there was a problem with the add/edit pop up page size. When I click the record icon, the preview box does not appear wholly; I can only see the scrollbars. Instead, I still have to expand it for me to see the whole content. Do I have to change something with the parameters in the PHPRunner or this is just a bug? Thanks
