I want to hide my hard drive from other user of this computer. How can I hide and lock the hard drives on my PC? I don't intend to hide the whole content of my computer, just the hard drive partition. How can I do it with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7?

I am having issues on charging my laptop battery. It is too upsetting when I am about to finish a presentation or download huge files then just suddenly stops because my battery runs out of battery. I use McAfee for long time. It's such a nice and hassle-free package I have ever used. But recently I am encountering following problem when it tries to backup data online. I am sure that my internet line is ok. Usually I uses broadband that connects 24 hours to my pc. If you have faced same problem before or know the solution, please share with me. .
