Is it appropriate to use https over RPC to connect Exchange Server?

Hello,

I am trying to transfer calendars, contacts and emails of my users using goggle apps migration for Microsoft exchange tools. The exchange server to be specific exchange 2003, is located in another time zone on a different remote server While in the office, we make use of RPC over HTTPS (currently known as exchange anywhere) to connect to the exchange server. Our users run Snow Leopard with Entourage 2008 and Windows 7 with Outlook 2010. How to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003

Hi?

I happen to have recently bought a new Sony 64 bit Notebook with windows 7 installed and I am able to back up the Operating System. On installing server 2003 as a second Operating System I had to partition the Notebook.

Now I am unable to boot into Windows & because it is missing and the reason I am thinking of being maybe server 2003 overwrites bootable.

I went ahead and reinstalled Windows 7 (using the Sony backup DVD) and partitioned the Notebooks’ HDD to create a new simple volume (drive D). I also installed server 2003 on this new drive...

Lost memory on my laptop

Hi everyone?

I had lost memory on my laptop but after a lot of help I got on Cat Byte, all the memory I was able to recover all that memory. However it has come to my attention that the same memory I recovered has been reducing as it did before.

I didn’t get the attach.txt notification after executing DDS

Hello?

I made a Google search and clicked on a photograph that was one of the results.

A notice notifying me that I had a potential virus popped up. I thought the notification resulted emerged from my Verizon security suite so I decided to quarantine the file.

Later on it occurred to me that this warning came from something else because now my computer is running some other processes i.e. named avgidsmonitor.exe and avgidsagent.exe.

To my best knowledge, I think they are Trojans .on scanning my computer with Verizon internet Security Suite; I didn’t get the attach.txt notification after executing DDS. This hung...

Active Directory users / groups not working too

Having problems with an exchanger server 2003

Hi there,

I am having problems with an exchanger server 2003.Neither can I add new accounts, remove accounts, sync outlook nor connect to a specific domain, which is either it doesn’t exist or it is not able to be contacted. I am also unable to update the global address book. Facility Win32 Id no: C0070546 Microsoft Active directory error. Windows media player gives message saying it is unable to play file

Hello everyone?

After trying to play some files that I downloaded in the avi format. Windows media player gives me a message saying it is unable to play the file. According to me, the player is either unable to support the type of file or it is not able to support the coded used to compress it.

An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed

Hi

The Photo Gallery  in Windows Live  displayed the error “ An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed” followed by the code error ”0×80010108” When I tried  to view an image file via the link in Start  > Recent Items or from Jump List.

But the exact same image opens just fine when I double click it.

What should I do to rectify this?

What should do so that the online responder works as it should?

The network to the company's network is made up of one Active Directory Domain, so as the systems administrator to the company, I installed Active directory certificate services also known as AD CS on a pc operating on Windows server 2008 and configured The AD CS server as an enterprise CA (certification authority).

I want clients to be availed with certification revocation information by another computer that is acting as an online Responder. So I went ahead and on a Windows server 2008, installed the IIS and the Online Responder service.

Unable to create a profile of spanning tree

I have seven physical DC’s each corresponding o a physical office, with seven subnets and seven AD sites. After looking into sites IP links I found out that the previous administrator had one link to a site named northwest and in it was all the sites.
