Getting the file or directory/dev/parport0 in python

Hi everyone,

I hope there are python gurus here. I am learning python, still new to the field. I would like to control the parallel port. It was quite easy controlling the parallel port using MS QBasic. It’s a challenge to do it using python. I am having a difficult time learning python, but with time i can do better. Recently i found an application called pyparallel. I installed it successfully and later tried it out.

Unable to Install Skype on Symphony X120 Mobile Set

Hi there by!

I like to use Internet for entertainment. I have faced a problem to download and install Skype to my mobile phone set. I use Symphony X120 mobile set. I wanted to install Skype in my mobile set but it failed.
 
For this reason, I searched many web sites which supply mobile software but I can not found a suitable Skype for my mobile (Symphony X120). Please help me, where can I find this suitable Skype software for my mobile.

Wired connections connected properly but can’t open any site

Hi, today I tried to connect to the internet through my landline network and found that the network is connected but I am not able to view any websites. I tried checking the IP address. I found that to be correct and I also tried to confirm all the usernames and passwords that I use to connect to the internet and found that was also fine.

I am totally unaware on what to do next. Anybody up there to help me.

Windows Failed to Start and Needs Windows Installer Disc

My Acer laptop has installed Vista 32-Bit Home Edition but it is not booting. It shows command prompt in the start which ask me to press F8.

After pressing F8 it directed to the Safe Mode option.

Whenever I select the Safe Mode, this error occurred “Windows Failed to start as a recent Hardware or Software is changed. Insert Windows installer Disc.”  Then tried to reinstall the Window in my computer.
 
But unfortunately I don’t know why it has no original installer.
 
To restore the original setting of his laptop can I apply the recovery Disc?
 
By doing this my problem will be resolved...

Computer Disk Hardware Configuration Error

Hello,

Any technical help please?

I was in the process of installing the Windows XP Pro32 onto my PC with 500 GB hard drive, but I realized that Win 7 is more fascinating.

And so, I stopped the installation process of Windows XP Pro 32, restarted the PC and proceeded in installing the Win 7. 

During the installation process, the PC rebooted, and this error message had occurred “Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.” I asked my friend who has knowledge on computer configurations to fix the concern but desperately, he was not able to solve the issue.

HP Deskjet F300 All in One Printer has an error

While I was in a middle of printing 30 pages of documents, my printer suddenly stops printing and there is no error showing on the screen. This printer has a built in scanner and copier.

After clicking the print tab on Microsoft word 2007, I can see the printer icon in my system tray at the bottom of my desktop, if I click the icon, the printer box will open showing me the status of what I am printing, like if it's already printing or Canceled.

Windows cannot start, NTOSKRNL.EXE missing or corrupt

 

 Hi all,

Every time I boot my PC, I always get this error; “Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: system32ntoskrnl.exe. Please reinstall a copy of the above file".

I tried to fix this problem with an emergency System Repair Disk but all of my attempts failed. I also tried booting while holding F8, and F7 keys but it all failed. How to fix Windows XP error message?

Yesterday, when my sister turns her computer on and the windows XP is loading. It will stay on this screen and will not load anymore to the desktop. It will stay on the windows XP loading screen for maybe 15 to 20 minutes loading and then suddenly a black screen pops up with an error message saying that sorry for the inconvenience and tells her to shut it down and try again. Steps or process on how to create Partitions?

When I was studying 8 years ago, we attended a seminar about computer hardwares.

I remember what the speaker told us, he said creating partitions are one of the simplest ways to safety your important files and also for much better arrangement of the files. For example putting all together the very important files inside the Partition A, then all music and videos will be placed at Partition B and lastly the other files in the Partition C.
