I recently removed several viruses and spyware from a friend's laptop using a combination of Norton, housecall.trendmicro.com, Spybot and Adaware. Everything seems to work, except that ... here is the trap. I am currently receiving the message "MSSvc.exe has encountered an error and wishes to close". I bring back after connecting to the PC (after a boot) or, if this does not happen, I will buy it after running it. No additional viruses or spyware were found and I have analyzed the registry MSSvc.exe, but without success. Does anyone have ideas? Thank you

I have the first Workplace 2003 Optical CD in the drive, but apparently, there is no ZF612707.CAB on it. I tried to find it manually on the optical disk.
