I was working on some data in an xls sheet just the other night and I happened to cut out some data but the lights went off before I could paste it where I wanted. The problem is that I had hit the save button on the spreadsheet. How can I recover these files? Is there a software that I could use or is there a place that I should search on the computer in order to get a previous copy of the xls file?

I need a powerful WiFi router that would reach all rooms in my home but it does not need to be very powerful like those used in corporates. My house consists of 12 rooms and I want both of them to have a good signal strength. Advise me on the best router that is priced fairly.

I am coding a system that would need radio waves but I do not know how to go about this. Is there a way that I can connect an antenna to my PC so that I can analyze radio waves? Is it necessary that I use another software or is there a more efficient way? 

I have a windows 8.1 pc and I recently noticed that many of my files exist as duplicates. It gives me a hard time to locate a duplicate and eventually delete it. Is there a way I can search for a duplicate file on Windows OS manually? If yes, how is it done? I need your help guys.

I read somewhere that there will be a change in the HTTP format but the story did not give further insight into it. What changes will be made? Will it improve usability of the internet? If it does, in which way? I only need to understand this, your help is appreciated.

I have a HP Pavilion G6 laptop running on Windows 8.1. I have been using it well but recently it has began freeing and then rebooting whenever I try to play a game on it. I have tried everything on Google but the problem is still persistent. I try on different games not one, but it still does not work. Help me go about it.

I think I clicked on something I had no intention of clicking on in some websites and now it keeps on downloading some random websites that are fake and have suspicious .exe programs. I ran a malware detection tool and I have so far found more than 5 fake programs. Deleting them is of no use since they reappear the moment put on my browser. I do not know why my antivirus does not get rid of these viruses. Will these malware destroy my files? How can I get rid of it?

I have a MacBook pro laptop and I need to replace my harddisk after it had a failure. I am now thinking of buying a new and even better one but I do not know the limitations if any. I understand apple computers would not just work with anything. Please help me get a good SSD that has good specs and will work with the laptop. 

I have not changed any settings on my computer yet when I log in to the system, I get a message that the certificate has been revoked. This blocks off my internet connection and I cannot access any site. The message reads: Web-shield has been blocked…certificate revoked…idvisitor.slate.com. I understand that this is caused by Avast but I do not understand why. What is a slate problem? Any suggestions on how to remove it since it is very annoying?

I use thunderbird in yahoo Firefox based mail. I can receive all emails without any issues. However, when I attempt to send, I get an error message that: “connected to smtp:mail.yahoo.com” and then there is a timeout message. It then displays a message “Login to server.stmp.mail.yahoo.com failed”. If I access my yahoo mail without using thunderbolt, it works perfectly. However, when I use it gives the above messages. What could be the problem? Help me get through it.
