Email sending issues in Firefox

Asked By 60 points N/A Posted on -

I use thunderbird in yahoo Firefox based mail. I can receive all emails without any issues. However, when I attempt to send, I get an error message that: “connected to” and then there is a timeout message. It then displays a message “Login to failed”. If I access my yahoo mail without using thunderbolt, it works perfectly. However, when I use it gives the above messages. What could be the problem? Help me get through it.

There must be a problem with your SMTP outgoing email settings.

Verify SMTP outgoing email settings.

1. Go to Tools. In it Account Settings.

2. At the bottom left of the panel, you will find Outgoing Server (SMTP). Click on it.

3. Make sure that the settings are same as documented.

You can also go to SMTP mail settings article on mail provider’s site.
