I bought a Macbook air but it did not come with a system disk. I now want to give it away but I need to remove all of my licensed accounts from it. Since I do not have a disk, i need a way of disabling iTunes, iCloud and any other accounts. How can I do that? Will it completely disable the account and allow new user to use his accounts?

I have an iMac 27” which was on Mavericks and then I installed Mountain Lion OS. Now the iMac gives a black screen yet the screen is powered. Whenever I click on sleep or if the PC goes on sleep mode by itself, it just fails to power up again. When I forcefully press the power button it then sounds like it is working well, but the screen is not showing anything. What could be the problem? Graphics card or Display?

I have a Mac Pro with an i5 processor and 2.53Ghz and 1066 MHZ, DDR3 and i recently upgraded my OS from Mac Os Snow Leopard to OS Maverick. I then bought a n 8GB memory chip that I would use to replace the 2 2GB memory cards in the system. Now on restarting the system, it begins doing some weird things like opening apps that i have not clicked on. It then reduces web pages sizes and occasionally freezes without me touching any key. What is causing this issue?...

Ever since I installed ubuntu 14.04, my master volume is just increasing by a number of ticks. This process recurs but it is not at regular intervals. I have tried checking if it is related to any other activity e.g keystrokes or even the mouse but it is not. At times it may stay high at times and then returns itself to a lower level after some time. I only listen to music via Youtube and Rhythmbox. What could be the issue with this computer?

I am using Ubuntu 14.10 and gnome-metacity is my current windows manager application. Recently, the apps bar at the top just disappeared and it is not available in metacity. I tried switching back to gnome-3 and the X-face which works, but i prefer using metacity. Anyone with an Idea on how i can bring it back?

I recently installed lubuntu on my PC so that I can use it for general computing tasks but now I am getting a lot of problems with IBUS application. this app keeps on breaking the input stream for applications such as Chromium yet it is supposed to allow me change the stream. Now I need to remove it from autostart since it stops users from doing anything. Help me uninstall it since every time I try it needs me to uninstall the Ubuntu-desktop too.

I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS installed in my computer. Now I am trying to record a video using my webcam which is Longitech C920, although I also have the Longitech c910 that I want to use partly. I have the GTK UVC to help capture the video but I am getting latency all the time on both webcams. Can you please help me identify the issue.

I bought a new Intel NUC5i5RYK which has an i5-5250u processor and the intel HD 6000 graphics. However, I have tried to install Ubuntu 14.04 or and 14.10 on it without succeeding. During installation, it only loads the grub and then shows a picture with broken graphics. The windows have bars only but no text or anything else within it. They seem to appear when I pass the mouse within the windows and then it freezes. This has happened twice today. Help me

I broke my USB stick and have recently received it back from the data recovery company I had sent it to. They did format it into FAT32, but I cannot plug in the USB stick without it prompting me that it will erase all the memory if I make it a memory device. I need to know what to do in order to get the memory back onto my Xbox since I have the data on my laptop. Any suggestions?
