FCP seems to be not recognizing any HDV camera as I already tried to use another camera and connect it but it also failed. I am running GNOME MPlayer Version 1.0.5b1 and the error below keeps on re-appearing when working on subtitles. MKV doesn't work on internal or external ones. What should I do so I can make the subtitles work without getting such issues? And what does the error is all about?

I don't know much on fixing multimedia issues. So I really need help from our Experts here. Using Last.FM Player or just listening to my Desktop sounds, it doesn't play any sound on the browser. I will need to restart the browser again to hear sounds again. However, there is no sounds on my system. It happens on my Mozilla Firefox browser and when I play music on Last.FM with firefox plugin, an error will appear:

I am trying to import some MP4 files with Camtasia Studio but I was greeted with an error message. I remember this is the same error I've got when I tried to import MOV And AVI file also. How can I fix this? Are there any limitations on importing files to Camtasia Stuido? Please enlighten me.

I'm trying to record through Firewire with IEEE 1394. I followed the steps on a certain website and then plugged in my firewire cable to DT100.
