I have a laptop that can connect to my network wirelessly and a desktop PC that can connect through wired network. This home network is connected with my DSL from Qwest. The problem is the browser that I am using on my desktop PC could not connect to the internet.

The weird thing is that, I can still receive emails and all my programs updates automatically. I can’t seem to connect via HTTP. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Internet Explorer 7 to no avail. I tried using other browser such as Firefox but the problem still occurs.

I have a question regarding SQL server. I developed software using VB.net and SQL server 2005. The problem is when I tried to create .exe file, I cannot run it on my computer since SQL server is installed on my system. I want to know if I will run this .exe file on other computer, should I install SQL server first. If so, is it possible to run it on other computer without installing SQL server? My files are automatically saved in Drive C: wherein my operating system is already installed by default.  My question now is will I lose all my files if I successfully performed Windows Repair?

I bought my computer on march 2005. It runs a Windows XP with 2GB RAM and 150GB HDD, Pentium Processor 1.7GHz. My problem is, whenever I try to click any icon on my desktop, it will take time before it opens.

I already run Kaspersky to scan for any virus but it is still the same.

I also run a defragmentation and nothing changed so far.

I do not have much on my computer but I really don't know why its acting very slow.

Advice please. I have several errors that display s in my computer, particularly in Windows Media Player. It showed LICENSE HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED. What shall I do with this error? I have a serious problem with my computer and laptop, and it really causes inconvenience! I keep getting error messages when I tried to use my DVD player. It prompts a message “Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video”.

Another message was:

(1) You might need to adjust your Windows display settings.

(2) Open display settings in Control Panel.

(3) Lower your screen resolution and color quality settings. I followed the Help Support in my computer, but without avail. Your expert advice please.
