Advice please. I have several errors that display s in my computer, particularly in Windows Media Player. It showed LICENSE HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED. What shall I do with this error? As I have newly-purchased computer, I expected that I could easily restore the hard drive and upgrade the OS (Operation System). But the download to own purchases does not work well.

I suggest you re install Windows Media Player. Also, do find updates to Windows Media Player via Windows Update. If updates are found do install them as they will update and fix Windows Media Player. I also suggest you go to the shop in which you bought your PC system. Do the necessary upgrades there, as they can assist you more and I assume they know all about the machines they sell. If everything else fails (or if they do not honour your warranty claims, which they should), you can always reformat the system. Install your applications one at a time and see if Windows Media Player has conflicts with other software you have.

Were you trying to install or add a license into the machine? Because based on your description, the system is actually telling you that the license is already in the computer. Perhaps there's no need to add it again. This should not be an error of concern.

As for the computer being new and it being easier to restore and upgrade, yes this is true. New branded computer usually have an image of their original state saved on the hard drive. If you'd like to restore back to factory settings, you can boot into the recovery partition and wipe the computer. Upgrading your operating system should also be easy as long as you have the necessary license to upgrade. These are actually easy to do even if you have stuff in your computer already.
