Hi there, TechyV!

I have had to recently reformat my computer several times because of a particular troublesome virus/worm problem.

When I tried reinstalling pcAnywhere for the third time, if I remember it correctly, this error message popped up.

All previous files have been erased in my last reformat so I don't understand how "another pcAnywhere host" can run.

Please help in this error, any suggestions will greatly help.

I am trying out Academic Site License Spring 2009 LabVIEW Core on my laptop which runs on Windows Vista.

Each time I launch the setup icon this error comes up.

All anti-virus software and firewalls are turned off, but it doesn't seem to help very much.

Any experience dealing with this error and possible solutions will be of great help.

I just installed an Instant Messenger when I got this error message. The IM seems to be working fine, and I got this error intermittently (see screenshot below).  I have searched the web and learned that I just have to uninstall the program. 

However, I needed this program and wasn’t sure about the suggested resolution. 

I hope an expert from this site can help address this problem.

I want to use a multibody dynamics and motion analysis software called MSC Adams. I tried installing it, but this error message came up.

I have Administrator access and as far as I know there's nothing wrong with my hard disk.

How can I check if the directory (C:Windows) is writable? I have installed other programs before, and they worked fine.

I was developing a Visual C++ program and tried to install its runtime module, but I got this error message with error number 1935, see below for the screenshot. I have searched the web, but I haven’t found a sound resolution to the problem.

A web said about a missing folder and even a registry-related problem. 

Not sure how to resolve this. Please help!

Hi Experts,

I was trying to use WinSCP to transfer files between several PCs, one PC being the File Server when I got an error message, see below.

It was just a simple FTP and wondered why I got this network connection problem. 

Any suggestions on how to resolve the problem?
