I would like to hear your opinion if it is better for business and consumer PC users to use Linux operating systems rather than Windows and Star Office.

I am trying to load Windows Server 2003 server R2 on my inter server. Whenever I try to install windows server, it shows the error message "A problem has been detected and windows is shutting down to protect your computer”. When I asked Intel customer care to help, they gave me a driver to install and there is the problem, I can’t go to windows screen where I can pick a custom folder to install the driver.

Is there any other way to install this driver without booting the operating system, so that after installing the driver I can install the Windows server? Can you help me with this?

I am experiencing an odd thing about Internet Explorer. It shows us automatically and shows-

"You’re last browsing session closed unexpectedly."

The Bad thing is that I cannot close it, and there is no Internet explorer icon on task bar. But iexplorer.exe is running.

And when I close it says "Your tab has been recovered".

Another thing is that I never run the Internet Explorer.

I have created some folder for different clients. Thy can view these folders ,but thy don’t have access to this folders. We want to hide those folder which they don’t have access to.

I am trying to install Microsoft Access-based Enumeration. , but when i am trying to install it shows a error message "Processor not support"

Can I solve this problem with other Microsoft product or Microsoft solution?

I have one server to run a small domain of 32 users, it may sound odd, but company ignores to pay any more money.  This server was crashed 1 week before.  Unfortunately, no Backups were created. Then I reloaded it so client can get connected to domain. But, I get an error saying that “This computer is not connected to domain” when I try to log in using a user id and password.

But if I log in using a client with my admin password, it shows I am connected with the server.

Can anyone please give me any suggestion about it?

This server is configured with DHCP, DNS and Domain controller and running with Windows XP (service pack 3)

I used Alfresco Share for managing my documents, wiki and blogs. I can be able to use this before without issues. But today, when clicking on the Repository tab, I received an exception error. I posted the screenshot below so it will be easy for you guys to understand and help me.  Thanks.

I am running Windows 8 build 8108. I need to install .NET framework so I can run some applications.

But when initializing the installation in Add Roles and Features Wizard, it shows an error “Assertion Failed.”

When clicking Ignore and Abort, the window will exit.

When clicking on retry, it will just lead me to the same error message.

How can I correct this faulty message?

I don’t really like IE so I installed Safari in my Windows Vista. It works fine, and I never had any errors or problems in using it.

But it just happened that when I was about to use it, it suddenly stopped working.

Of course I tried some re-installing but always failed.

How can I manually fix this error?
