While I am trying to join Virtual hard disk file on the SD card Windows 7 or server 2008 R2, I received an error message.

Some suggestions?

Requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation.

A profound fragmented file on your NTFS will not grow more than the specified size due to the implementation limit in structures. To fix this, you will need the Microsoft Hotfix to correct the issue.

Requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation.

If an automated fix is not what you're looking for, you have another way of solving this problem: considering this problem is caused by the high fragmentation of your NTFS volume, you can choose to defragment the disk and try the operation at hand again.

All you need to do for this is to go to your Search option in windows and write 'defrag'. This program is incorporated in the Windows Operative System and will defragment your disk.
