Alternative way to lower down the temperature of desktop

I want to add more ways to lower down the heat of my desktop computer. I want to know more Water Block EKWB. How does it work? What are the substances used to make the device keep its temperature level? How long does it take to use this before I need replacement? How much is the cost if I am going to buy it? What are the systems required and or where is it capable?
