Malwarebytes anti-malware fails to open the program after installation

Hello experts,

I just installed Malwarebytes for PC and this error appeared when I tried to open the program. I reinstalled the program again and still. Any solution ? Can anyone tell me please why the program is not working on my PC ?

Malwarebytes anti-malware fails to open the program after installation

One possible cause is a corrupted installer which usually happens when you acquired the installer from a different source and didn’t come from the official website. To make sure you are using a legit installer, download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2. It requires Windows XP x86 only, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 both x86 and x64.

You will only have a problem in case you have a much lower operating system like earlier than Microsoft Windows XP. If this happens, you need to replace your operating system to at least Microsoft Windows XP or higher. You can also download Malwarebytes from FileHippo: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2. Also, if the latest version doesn’t support your operating system and you don’t want to replace it, you can find older versions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from FileHippo.

I’m not sure if they have the complete versions of Malwarebytes but just keep scrolling until you find a much suitable version for your operating system.
