Audio works fine but video gets green and pixelated.

When I start a multimedia presentation it works fine. But when the video is played the audio works fine but video gets green and pixilated. My video format is WMA and the video is linked to play automatically in order by user.

The presentation continually loops through all slides. Is there any solution?

When the video file is played in Windows Media Player it works perfect (video and audio)

May I know what the format of your "multimedia presentation" is?  What software did you use to create the presentation?

I think the format of the video that is inserted in your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation is in the wrong video format. And when you said that your video uses the .wma extension or is in the wma format, this proves that my hunch is right. A file that uses the .wma extension [Windows Media Audio] is not a video file. The .wma extension is used by audio files, which means that the video file inserted in your Microsoft PowerPoint presentation is really not a video but an audio file that uses the Windows standard audio format.

Microsoft PowerPoint supports these video formats: Windows Media file [.asf, .asx, .wpl, .wm, .wmx, .wmd, .wmz], Windows video file [.avi], DivX Media File [.divx], and Microsoft Recorded TV Show [.dvr-ms]. Since you are only having problems with the inserted video, you should try converting the video to any of the supported video formats listed above to make sure that it uses the right media format.

I already tried inserting a high quality .avi video in Microsoft PowerPoint and I was able to successfully preview the video over the slide without having any problems.
