I have a flat-Screen TV which is connected to my Computer via HDMI. Monitor and TV are configured as separate X-screens. I want to have the VLC interface on my monitor. Can you please tell me the solution of it?

Hi,

You can mirror the display from the computer. But the procedures will depend on the Operating System of your computer. If you are using a Macintosh computer with Leopard or SnowLeopard OS, you just need to access the System Preferences window and click the "Display" icon. You will have the option to detect a display and set the display to mirror mode or extended display. In mirror mode, it allows you to display the desktop on the TV or whatever you see on the computer will also be displayed on TV. In extended display, it allows you to extend the desktop of the computer so that you can drag it to either of the monitors. If you are using a PC based computer, you will have to check the Graphics Card manufacturer if it is compatible for multiple display. If it is, then just right click on the desktop, click properties, click display settings and arrange the display format.

Hope this helps.
