Solution Center HP C7280 Error Message While Scanning Computer Or Software

Hello guys

I make an attempt to scan with Solution center to HP C7280. All are present on Windows 7 operating system virtual engine on an iMac.

Without problem I am able to print as well as copy with HP Solution Center but I receive an error message while trying to scan with another computer or software.

Tried to reboot, reinstall Solution Center, try to remove the printer from iMac etc.

When printer is connected via wireless it pops up initial error message saying me that it is not the same network and when it is installed in the Windows environment it proceeds neglecting that error, all functioning except scanning.

Any suggestions to solve this would be greatly appreciated.

The scan cannot be performed because another program or computer is using the networked HP imaging device.

Try again later.

Hide extended error information.

OK

Thanks in advance.

So you are running your Windows 7 on a virtual machine which is installed in your iMac. Maybe that’s the reason why you are having problems using your HP printer/scanner because the device can detect both of the operating systems.

I’m not sure if you still need to install your HP printer/scanner on Windows 7 which is in a virtual machine while you are already using an iMac. Why not just install the HP printer/scanner on your iMac and not on Windows 7 to avoid the confusion in the application.

Since your HP Solution Center is already not working well in both of the operating systems you have, try uninstalling this application on both operating systems. After this, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the software on the iMac again after this and then check if this fixes the problem.
