Hi all, when I am trying to update any software, I get this kind of error.
Error:
The database file is already in use.You must close the instance of No Hands SEO that is using the database.
Any help is appreciated.

When you mention that you are having difficulties with updating “ANY” software, are you referring to updating your “NHSEO”?
Or are you referring to updating literally ANY software? ( those two are somewhat connected btw)
1.) If you were referring to trying to update any program and you are getting that error: then please run task manager, go to the processes tab, look for the NHSEO’s *.exe* file, right click it and click on “end process tree” and then start updating.
2.) Update “NHSEO” to the most current version as it alleviates the error.
If you are updating “NHSEO”, then do step 1 & if the issue still persist:
3.) Disable all antivirus for the meantime as it may be blocking file/s to be overwritten.
4.) Reinstall NHSEO.
