For a couple of days, I can’t install software in my PC.
There is an error message that appears:
Error: An error occurred while attempting to create the directory:C:ProgramDataMicrosoftwindowsStart Menu
So, I need some helps to solve this issue.

Try to follow the steps below to fix the issue.Â

Method 1
1. Log-in as administrator.
a. Go to Start and Click Accessories.
b. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
c. In the Command Prompt type net user administrator /active:yes
d. Restart your computer or log-off to access and use the Administrator account.

Method 2
1. Go to start and type %temp% in the search box.
2. Click Local on the address bar of the Windows explorer.
3. Look for the Temp folder and right click it.
4. Click Properties and click the Security Tab.
5.Click Permissions and select Everyone group.
6. Click Full Control in the type of Access List.
7. Click Replace Permissions on Subdirectories check box and click ok.
8. Click Yes.
9. Click Ok in the folder name properties box.
