Hello,

Recently, I have installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 and it works fine unless I reboot my computer. When I reboot my PC the configuration process starts and the following error shows “Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 did not complete successfully”. How can I remove this error? Suggest me.

Thanks in advance.

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 configuration did not complete successfully.

Error 25004. The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous Office 2013 trials being installed. (System error: -1073418218)

Hi Javier

Before installation go to: My computer/program files/common files/Microsoft shared

You will see Office 15 folder or office software protection platform then delete this folder.

Then navigate to My computer/program files(x86)/ common files/ Microsoft shared. Locate the office 15 or Office software protection platform, delete this folder also.

Then do the installation process.

Hello,

This problem is occurring for the confliction of two Office 2013. Office 2013 is installed before by your computer’s manufacturer. As you are trying to install the same version, it is showing error.

So you have to uninstall the old one first. To do so,

  • On Windows 7:

1. Go to Start menu >> Control Panel >> Programs >> Programs and Features.

2. Select Office 2013 and click on “Uninstall”.

3. Follow the wizard instruction to complete the uninstallation process.

  • On Windows 8:

1. Move your cursor on the top-right corner. From the bar, select “Control Panel”.

2. Go to Programs >> Programs and Features.

3. Select Office 2013 and click “Uninstall”.

Now, you are able to install your own Office 2013 copy without any error.
