I have installed a software from my pen drive. It requires restart after installing the software. After rebooting my system I am unable to execute any .exe file in Windows 7. My antivirus stopped working and CPU usage is 100%. Can anyone solve my problem?

Hi friend,

Follow this step solution:

1. Go start menu, then you will see a text field then type “system restore” then enter (you can also select and click the system restore button at the top).

system restore

2. In the system restore application you can choose a date/day, this step will help you bring back your system to its previous status without deleting your files or documents.

Show more restore point

3. After the system restore is finished, restart your PC to make sure that your system is running in good condition, after this step your Anti- virus will come back to its previous status.

4. If you are willing to install your software you mentioned before, you should first check its compatibility to your OS /system compatibility before you install the software.

Second is to check the system requirement of your software you want to install.

Why do this: Because it is important that the software you try to install is compatible with your system and you should meet the specification requirement so that there will be no problem.

Hi,

Your system has been affected by the virus. There are two solutions in my mind for you. One restores the system. But the problem is many people don’t create a backup point of their system.

So, they can’t be able to restore their system. Another solution is you have to reinstall the operating system (Windows 7 or XP or whatever you want). There are some important things to note down before reinstalling operating system.

1. Copy your important data from C: drive & desktop to another drive.

2. Format your C: drive while reinstalling operating system.

3. After reinstalling operating system, do not open any other drive instead C:

4. Install any antivirus to your system from CD-Rom. E.g. (Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, NOD32 etc).

5. Update the antivirus.

6. Scan your complete system and clean that.

Now you can open the other drives and .exe files too.
