My Intel Wireless Display or WiDi starts incorrectly.

Although I did not get any error message, it sends an alert stating that I should close the software and restart with compatible platform.

What can this error means?

I have been using WiDi for a month now. Why does the error asked for a compatible platform?

I’m running Windows Vista 32-bit PC.

Help me.

Did you install something new in your machine? There might be a chance that a different software might have caused damage to this program and that you need to reinstall it again. If this is the case then uninstall any software and then give it a try. If you found out the software then search it over the internet that is it really have some compatibility issues with the Intel WiDi.

  1. Follow the guide provided by Iintel in this link.
  2. Install the Intel pro set wireless software and drivers and choose the latest one that are available.
  3. Install the Intel HD graphics driver specifically for the Windows Vista.
  4. Then reinstall the program again and I am sure that the error will not happen again.
