I have an outlook client that I use to read my emails, However recently I have noticed that I'm unable to receive emails but I can send, what could be the problem? I have not changed my settings in my email client, how can I trouble shoot the email account using the email client? Is there unique software that can be used to effectively check for this fault?
My email client will not read my Gmail emails
When someone sends you email and that does not reaches your inbox, then try with the following ways to fix that problem:
** First of all, check your junk folder. If you see the incoming emails there, you can move them to inbox.
** Check your inbox filter settings and click on the select All.
** Add the sender name to the contact list.
** Check Safe and blocked senders list at the top of the page.
** Check your Email and Junk Email settings.
** Also, keep your inbox free to receive emails.
After ensuring that problem persists in the mentioned steps, then verify the settings in the user details page are correct or not. This can be done by checking whether the email address that has to be entered in the email interface matches the email that is in the user details page when email was created.
