Hi,

I have installed Adobe reader 8 plug-ins and getting the following error message when try to open the PDF in a browser. What’s wrong? Can I get any resolution for you? I extremely need your assistance. I am using Windows XP. Help me. Thanks.

Hi John,

Just-In-Time Debugger is a feature of the Microsoft Visual Studio software and often interferes with other software operation. You need to disable it permanently in order to enable Adobe Reader to function properly within Firefox. Below are the steps:

  1. Open visual studio > Tools > Options > Debugging
  2. Clear the check boxes next to Managed, Script and Native. Click OK and reboot.

If this doesn't help, then I suggest you install another version of Adobe Reader.
