Which is the best virtual software to a windows operating system in Linux platform that can be able to handle games with a higher GPU ? Is it possible to increase the GPU in Linux or how would you increase the overall GPU for a virtual windows 7 running in a Linux environment?

Hello,

Virtual computers refer to such a condition that a system is running under different system, using a small resource from the real system. Generally, you can’t get as much speed in virtualized PC than native system as native one’s running from the main machines where virtualized ones are running using a part of the real system.

If you have got higher GPU V-RAM, RAM space, disk space, then you can play games into virtualized computers. But this isn’t recommended, as it might create trouble with your PC.

There are many virtualization software available. Among them. VirtualBox is recommended as it’s open-source, free and powerful. It’s available for both – Windows and Linux.

Don't play highly configured games under virtual machines as they can't get direct access to system hardware resources.
