I am working from home for few days as I am not well to go office. Now I wanted to configure live cd remote desktop client with my boss system, so that I can easily have full control on his system and complete the work as needed.

There are many possible ways to connect remotely where your current location does not matter. First, I recommend you to enable remote desktop SSH service in a guest account.
