I've just run the File Recovery process and after that, it prompts a dialog box as shown below. It stated that it fails to recover directory files. I don't know which one is it. So can someone please help me with resolving this issue. I need to complete the recovery process. Please help me.

Supposedly, this program is used to create backups of your system so you can protect the integrity of your system in times of disaster. This way, you can easily restore what the damage has done. Since this is a backup utility, it solely relies on the hard drives physical integrity for the successfulness of the restoration.

When storing the backup files you created, it is important that you store it on a healthy drive free from errors and any physical damage like bad sectors or bad spot. If there is a bad spot on the drive where you store the backup files, you may not be able to create a successful restoration because the backup file may be damaged.

In your case, since you are doing a recovery or restoration, make sure you are using an account with administrative privileges. Ordinary or limited user accounts won’t be able to do a system restoration. And also, you should check if the target drive is not damaged. Because even if you have healthy backup files but your target drive is beginning to fail, you still won’t be able to successfully restore it.

If you were able to do a recovery, maybe only a portion of it is successful and it is not complete or the recovery is incomplete.
